• PWM strategies, field oriented and direct control methods of induction motor drives, control of power electronic converters for ac drives using microprocessors, fuzzy logic based control in power electronics, active and hybrid power filters for the compensation of harmonics, unbalance and flicker effects, parasitic phenomena in PWM inverter-fed induction motor drives, EMC in power electronics, power electronics for FACTS, electronic power converters in smart grids
